Jacksons Consulting provides independent specialist support across all aspects of superyacht coatings work — from project planning, specifications, application oversight, key stage acceptance, dispute investigation, and expert analysis.
Inspection & Quality Assessment
Independent coatings inspections supported by extensive practical experience. This includes finishing quality evaluation, inspections during application stages, delivery acceptance inspections, and defect documentation with repair recommendations.
Dispute Investigation & Expert Analysis
Technical investigation of coatings failures and workmanship disputes, with support for mediation and legal proceedings. Typical clients include owners, shipyards, insurers, and legal teams.
Services may include expert reports, technical analysis, and support during mediation or legal proceedings. A fundamental principle of this work is that the opinion given reflects the evidence — irrespective of which party has commissioned the investigation.
Technical Support
Practical guidance aimed at improving coatings processes and finishing consistency for applicators and shipyards. This may include process review, troubleshooting recurring defects, method evaluation, and training.
Much of the work undertaken by Jacksons Consulting is delivered in collaboration with established consultancy organisations active within the superyacht sector. In addition, a limited number of direct commissions are accepted where an independent specialist opinion is required.
